Business Succession Planning in Tough Times

January 27, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

About the Webinar:

Since 1977 the ICA Group has been on a mission “to expand economic opportunity and self-determination by supporting initiatives that empower workers, build community assets, and root capital locally through employee ownership.”

If business succession planning is on your mind, join us for a webinar to learn about all of your options, including one you may not have otherwise thought of: selling your business to a broad base of your employees, called ’employee ownership’. The ICA Group is proud to present this special Succession Planning webinar at QEDC’s hosted event along with one of our ambassador partners, Charles Saunders (Certified Family Business Specialist, Retirement Plan Specialist, Care Specialist, MassMutual Pacific).

Our experts will discuss why it is more important than ever to have a plan for your business’ future, and what resources are available to help you along the way. We will discuss how you can make a plan that maximizes your financial return, maintains your business legacy, protects the jobs that you have worked hard to create and rewards your employees in a transition.

The Queens Economic Development Corporation and Queens Tourism Council will host Queens Taste 2024 at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 pm to 9 pm.

We expect to attract more than 500 attendees with 50 restaurants and beverage purveyors, who will offer samples of their products. Thus, attendees will be able to bounce from table to table, tasting treats from tangy to fiery, crunchy to velvety, and sweet to briny.

Queens Taste is also a celebration of the borough -- and a great way to network. Almost all the anticipated 500 attendees either live in Queens or do business there. Many are executives and captains of industry. The atmosphere is always festive, almost giddy, creating an ideal scene for meeting and greeting.
