A Live Financial Projections Session with a CPA – For Tech Startups

Do you know how a CPA helps his/her startup clients prepare the financial projections for potential investors? Do you want to learn the thought process behind all the numbers? During this workshop, we’re excited to have Akshay to do a LIVE demo of financial projection with a real startup business.
Attendees will get a unique insight into the inner-workings of a CPA who specializes in working with startup business and entrepreneurs.
This workshop is particularly helpful for those who are considering applying for the 2022 StartUP! Competition and having an opportunity to win a 10K grant for your business.
This is one of the workshops in the 2022 Queens StartUP Competition Program. This workshop is open to everyone. You do not need to be a StartUP participant to take this workshop. However, if you’re looking to participant in the 2021 StartUP program, you are required to take minimum four workshops in order to be qualified to compete and an opportunity to win 10,000 grant award. The Queens Economic Development Corporation and Queens Tourism Council will host Queens Taste 2024 at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
We expect to attract more than 500 attendees with 50 restaurants and beverage purveyors, who will offer samples of their products. Thus, attendees will be able to bounce from table to table, tasting treats from tangy to fiery, crunchy to velvety, and sweet to briny.
Queens Taste is also a celebration of the borough -- and a great way to network. Almost all the anticipated 500 attendees either live in Queens or do business there. Many are executives and captains of industry. The atmosphere is always festive, almost giddy, creating an ideal scene for meeting and greeting.
