Before entrepreneurship, Emily worked in political organizing and public policy including the 2012 Obama campaign and a fair court non-profit in D.C.  She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Carnegie Mellon University where she was a 2011 Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow. She is an advisor to the Roosevelt Institute's Forge Fellowship, a Startingbloc Social Innovation Fellow, and was on a list for “What’s Next in Pittsburgh Tech” in 2018.
