Darren Lin – Co-founder of Foodini
Foodini is an app that empowers you to try new foods while giving restaurants an affordable platform to drive traffic. Current apps lack crucial knowledge for users, and Foodini solves this by providing the tools and support along the food journey so that customers feel confident trying a new dish or cuisine.
Darren is currently beta testing the app. “Having gone through the startup journey once (and failed) a year prior, I knew that in order to turn Foodini into a successful venture, I needed the right team to execute it.” Darren was able to bring in three team member who are software engineers and have experience in the restaurant space. You can ask Darren anything from building a consumer app to building a team.
Classes are sponsored by the Small Business Association.
