October 27, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Workshop Description:

Crowdfunding should be the first stop on your funding journey. It’s a low-risk, efficient path to getting a startup, small business, nonprofit, or side hustle off the ground without going into debt or giving up equity. In this workshop, led by IFundWomen Startup Coach Alex Brockelman, we’ll talk about the pros & cons of different funding strategies and all the different need-states that crowdfunding can be successful for.

Highlights/take-aways:

  1. What is crowdfunding?
  2. Why crowdfunding is helpful
  3. The IFundWomen Method for executing a successful crowdfunding campaign

About the Speaker:

Alex is a former founder with experience in both for-profits and non-profits. His entrepreneurial focus has been creating organizations that partner sound business models with compelling social impact – particularly with regard to food justice and access. As a Startup Coach at IFundWomen, he spends his days working with entrepreneurs to meet their long-term goals through business planning, marketing, and crowdfunding strategy. It’s time to close the funding gap for women entrepreneurs!
