Emily Wazlak is the Founder and CEO of Shine Registry, a growing platform using best practices from crowdfunding and traditional wedding registry sites to support female founders. Shine Registry is changing the way communities show up for people they care about and reimagining the relationship between women and ambition. Before entrepreneurship, Emily worked in political organizing and public policy including the 2012 Obama campaign and a fair court non-profit in D.C.  She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Carnegie Mellon University where she was a 2011 Public Policy and International Affairs Fellow. She is an advisor to the Roosevelt Institute's Forge Fellowship, a Startingbloc Social Innovation Fellow, and was on a list for “What’s Next in Pittsburgh Tech” in 2018.
