Join us for a Power Networking Breakfast with speaker Terry Frishman on how you can take your food business to the next level

Taking Your Food Business to the Next Level

Whether you’re an aspiring, start-up or more established food entrepreneur, what does it take to get to the next level? Please share in advance, the biggest challenge(s) you face in your food business, and we’ll try to address as many as possible in an educational and action-oriented PPT with a customized presentation by award-winning food business consultant and educator, Terry Frishman.
Depending upon your questions, we can address topics like: How do you make money in a food business? Develop your concept? Build a brand? Price? Test market? Optimize sampling and/or trade shows? Get press? Increase sales? Present to a gourmet store vs. a supermarket? Work with brokers or distributors, vs. only selling direct? Negotiate with your copacker? Raise capital? Leverage partnerships to more profitably grow your business?

When you register, you’ll be asked to share your greatest challenge facing your food business. Be sure to include it, your email, and your website so we can best help on March 24th.

The Queens Economic Development Corporation and Queens Tourism Council will host Queens Taste 2024 at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 pm to 9 pm.

We expect to attract more than 500 attendees with 50 restaurants and beverage purveyors, who will offer samples of their products. Thus, attendees will be able to bounce from table to table, tasting treats from tangy to fiery, crunchy to velvety, and sweet to briny.

Queens Taste is also a celebration of the borough -- and a great way to network. Almost all the anticipated 500 attendees either live in Queens or do business there. Many are executives and captains of industry. The atmosphere is always festive, almost giddy, creating an ideal scene for meeting and greeting.
