Please join us for the E-Space’s sixth birthday party!
There’s a lot to celebrate. The E-Space has helped almost 600 small businesses, generated $6.5 million in revenue, and created more than 100 jobs over the past six productive years. Plus, the Queens Economic Development Corporation, which operates the E-Space, will announce the StartUP! Business Plan Competition finalists.
The E-Space officially opened on Jan. 19, 2011. This 12,500-sq.-ft., NYC Economic Development Corporation-sponsored hub features a fully equipped commercial kitchen, offices, and classrooms. To improve outcomes, QEDC offers business counseling, technical assistance, and financial classes on site. The E-Space also provides room for The Fortune Society, which trains previously incarcerated individuals for jobs in the food-preparation industry.
Classes are sponsored by the Small Business Association.
